I dig into this project with a more strict Technical Task from the client. So, a lot of work had been done so far, so the task from a client was to review the job done, propose some ideas if there would be so, and make all ideas that the client would approve real.
The project is all about education in charity. Pure online. Students are the organization owners or PR managers of charity funds who want to upgrade their organization. We sell here the experience of my client who founded the charity organization and successfully helped so many people all around Ukraine and Russia. At the end of my material research, I have proposed to renew the videos by making them all more stylish, comfortable to watch, and shorter. Also, I suggested creating worksheets for students, so they would have smth material above the whole online course and smth that they can share with the whole team. I found it is valuable and a good marketing tool as well. Besides, I put forward 3 variants for presentation design that were used in the video, as well as in course webinars.
As result, we have come to several changes and program upgrades. I made a list of changes to make on a website based on these changes. So then we got to real job :)
12 presentations for students and speaker. Presentations have been used for webinars as well as to raise the information perception efficiency and was presented in LMS as a topic outline
About 30 tasks were collected with sources where actual statistics and other data are presented. Everything was collected in LMS. For the course, we have chosen Teachable. I have changed tasks several times throughout the adaptation too, cause we have given about 2 lessons per week with 2 different topics; so the education pace was too high and intensive. That is why we needed to review tasks and “slow down” a bit.
Several home tasks are accompanied by expert feedback. These are essays, reports, and assessments. These are checked for 3-4 days by the course speaker and are sent on email by the student.
6 Feedback forms in a course are integrated into lessons, so the manager would be able to understand the possible reasons for student failures or drop out.
The manager supports the student the whole 10-week-education-period. The forms he/she learns every week and in the course manager manual there is a note to check it all regularly and react, process the feedback.
Worksheets for a student. They needed to print it themselves or fill it online. We did it so, so the book could be used several times and spread throughout all team members of a fund or organization. .
We have worked for 20 days with a graphic designer to make the sheets applicable for the course needs that could afterward be used as an organization.
10 Video lessons, from 15 to 24 minutes each, with animation to increase the digestibility of the learning material.
Lessons are full of expert’s cases and stories based on her experience. Jokes and sad stories are also included as well as life hacks and data-driven sources.
